In the unspoilt nature of Triglav National Park, where cows, goats and grazing animals used to graze stands our lovley house which was built in 1921. At your disposal are rooms, solid wood kitchen, nicely furnished spacious dining room with a sofa bed, and in the upstairs attic room there is a bedroom with 6 beds, a spacious bathroom with toilet and shower. We also have an outdoor summer kitchen where you can grill and cook outside in harmony with nature. An extra bed is also in the dining room where the sofa can be extended. In 2020 the house was completely refurbished and re-decorated and we managed to preserve the original soul of the old mountain hut. Simple but nicely decorated accommodation which is difficult to find nowadays. And if you are looking for wildlife you've come to the right place... in the early morning, chamois and roe deer graze on the meadow, sometimes the fox runs into the house; instead of the noise of cars, you will be woken by birds singing and chirping. This is called vacation amidst totally unspoilt nature, an ideal holiday for cyclists, hikers and fishermen. This is a wonderful location for anyone interested in a slightly different vacation in the company of your loved ones. Here you will find above all, peace ... and yourself.

BOHINJ AMONG THE TWENTEST SAFEST EUROPEAN DESTINATIONS

Bohinj landed among the 20 safest tourist destinations after the covida-19 pandemic, where it was included by the Association of European Destinations of Excellence. They put our country as a whole on the map of safe destinations, but according to the director of Tourism Bohinj Klemen Langus, this is good news that came at the right time.

The European Commission has recognized Bohinj as one of the most sustainable destinations in Europe, and at the same time the Association of European Destinations of Excellence has included it in the list of the twenty safest places to visit. In the selection, they wrote that Bohinj is a peaceful refuge for all lovers of nature, outdoor activities, local products and real experiences, and also emphasized that the new coronavirus has not hit Slovenia so hard. The director of Bohinj tourism, Klemen Langus, pointed out that the news about the inclusion on the list came at the right time, because now Bohinj (and Slovenia) need it very much. Langus is not particularly worried about the summer season. Namely, he believes in the solid foundations they have laid in the field of local community development. It is about developing sustainable mobility and promoting an understanding of the importance of protecting the environment through the promotion of biodiversity, for example through the International Alpine Flower Festival. He is convinced that these are the main foundations that make Bohinj recognized in Europe as a leading destination in the field of sustainable tourism development. It is therefore a recognition of the right direction, not only tourism but the entire local community, which is taking important steps towards making Bohinj a pleasant place to live and thus interesting for guests and visitors.
